Max Cole was originally founded in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. In June of 2007 the company moved its operations to Singapore in order to take advantage of the regional focus of Singapore based companies.

Robert founded Max Cole Technology Solutions in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in 2005, building on his diverse background in software development, data networking and system administration working for companies such as WorldCom and France Telecom. Prior to working directly in the IT industry, Robert managed a chain of retail stores in the United States where he was responsible for operational efficiencies and profitability.
With Max Cole, Robert is primarily responsible for business development, marketing and technical solutions. Combining several years of Java, PHP, Python and other software technologies with his networking and systems experience, Robert is keenly focused on helping companies of all sizes realize the benefits of Voice over IP communications and integrated applications.
Robert was born in 1969 in Rochester, NY, USA. He is currently a Permanent Resident of Singapore where he lives with his wife and daughter, four years old.
Mike Veltman, Director of Technology Development for Max Cole Technology Solutions Pte Ltd., is primarily responsible for the development and support of the VoIP/Linux solutions developed by the company. Mike also provides project management support on larger projects.
Mike brings more then fifteen years of technical consultancy and project management on diverse platforms, including Microsoft, Linux and Novell. After the DOS and Novell Netware age, he gained experience on the Microsoft Windows and Linux platforms while working for several integrators in The Netherlands. Mike has been an active Linux user since 1993 both personally and professionally with multiple distributions and resumed use of Netware services when they became integrated with Open Enterprise Server on the Linux platform.
Mike also builds virtual servers based on the XEN hyper visor, running client Microsoft Windows Platform with all its services and and other operating systems, such as Linux and Novell Netware, in single implementations and in Data Centre environments.
Mike was born in Amsterdam, The Netherlands in 1965. He is currently a Permanent Resident in Singapore where he lives with his wife, a native of Singapore, and two cats.
Mr John Alam, as Director of Sales, is responsible for the sales of Max Cole Technology Solutions Pte Ltd products and services. John has been in the IT industry for over eight years in positions ranging from IT Manager at Ingram Micro Asia Pte Ltd to Industry Solutions Developer for Singapore Technologies Engineering. He has been working with voice applications and unified communications technology since Voice over IP became commercially viable in 1998.
In 1999, John joined Ingram Micro Asia Pte Ltd and became Senior Product Manager in 2004. Following that, he held the position of Senior Systems Engineer at several network appliances and server solutions startups with responsibilities including developing new systems development life cycle (SDLC ). As an IT Solutions Consultant, he was responsible for deployment of worldwide roll-outs of network appliance systems to companies such as Price Water House Coopers. He provided infrastructure, communications, engineering solutions and services to key customers in Singapore and in the region and was responsible for spearheading technology application and development of data and voice communication systems; policy formulation and strategic planning; and operational management of critical ground systems.
