What is the function for Biometric/ Fingerprint Reader?

A Biometric Reader, also known as a Fingerprint or Thumb Print Reader, uses unique human characteristics, such as finger prints, to clearly identify who are permitted to access the place.

As this system based solely on the thumb prints, you do not need to fear your cards/ tags will be stolen or lost. It is also a way to control the number of misusing of some other people’s card to enter the premises which increase the level of security.

However, biometric system is very sensitive at times, which may, at times, not be able to read your finger prints properly and deny your access to the door(s).
